  Catering/Administrative Assistant

 Since 1988, Monterey Gourmet has earned a reputation for providing the finest gourmet products and services in the area.  Monterey Gourmet provides a delicious assortment of specialty sandwiches, homemade salads, desserts, and dinner entrees and their catering staff is well known for their extraordinary quality and service.

Monterey Gourmet is currently seeking a Catering/Administrative Assistant to work in their Bernardsville, NJ office.

Job Summary:

Assist the Catering Manager with administrative duties such as taking orders over the phone, inputting orders into the computer, ordering rental equipment for events, assisting catering staff with party coordination, as well as general office duties including

faxing, answering phones, and special projects.

Requirements:

Desire to learn the catering business

Positive attitude

Data entry skills

Ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Proficient in Word

Typing 45 word per minute

Prior experience working in a catering environment is desired but not required
