Since 1988, Monterey Gourmet has become synonymous with the word quality.  Quality ingredients, meticulous preparation, high standards of culinary skills and elegant presentation are what set us apart.

 Our executive chef, Eric Garcia and talented catering staff have established a reputation for providing some of the most successful functions, from a casual dinner party for 8 to a wedding for 300.  By using the finest and freshest ingredients available, every menu item is expertly prepared to meet our high standards of excellence.  Hors d'oeuvres are made by hand and prepared just before each function to ensure freshness.  Sauces are naturally reduced and made without thickeners, preservatives, or flavor enhancers.  Desserts are beautifully created by artistic pastry chefs using all natural ingredients - from a luscious chocolate truffle torte to a beautiful three-tiered wedding cake with cascading fresh flowers.

 These menu suggestions are but a sampling of our scope.  Our catering staff will give personal attention to every aspect of your catering needs.  Rentals, china, linens, beer, wine, full bars, chefs and servers are all coordinated for your convenience.  Additionally, we offer free party planning and bridal consulting.  Whether in your home, in a tent, or in a rented hall or mansion, every detail is professionally planned and supervised from conception to completion.  We are now partnering with the Marriott Courtyard in Basking Ridge and offer a beautiful setting complete with white pagoda tent, manicured lawns, gazebo and a block of reserved rooms for your complete convenience.

* Our service staff will deliver to your home or business, set-up, cook, serve, and do complete clean-up in a professional, courteous manner.  The following service fees are based on a minimum of 5 hours, and do not include gratuities.  A gratuity of 18 to 25 % of Service Fee is customary and appreciated.

Head Server and Maitre d'.....30/hr
Servers and Bartenders.....25/hr
Chef and Captains.....35/hr
(Hourly rates are higher on holidays, please inquire)

1 Assorted Sodas, Juices, Seltzers and/or Sparkling Waters- $3.95 per person

2 Choice of One- $7.95 per person (minimum 12 persons)
